02 · Fellowship Overview & Activities

One year, one project, real ownership.

The RIS Rx Fellowship Program gives new pharmacy graduates and existing pharmacists hands-on experience in managed care, pharmaceutical hub services, reimbursement, business development, and management — working alongside fellow pharmacists and the executive leadership team. Our 1-year fellowship, in partnership with Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy, involves creating a new project or improving upon an existing one at RIS Rx.

The fellow will interact with many major pharmaceutical companies, network pharmacies, and healthcare providers throughout the United States, developing their ability to implement multiple programs and workflows while expanding their professional network.

At RIS Rx, mentorship plays a key role in helping the fellow reach their full potential. The fellow will receive hands-on training on topics such as:

    To be considered, candidates must have completed a PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy and be legally authorized to work in the United States. RIS Rx is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

    Video and/or in-person interview, including a 1–1.5 hour roundtable interview with site preceptor(s) and fellowship director(s).

    Selection announced

    By February 1, 2027

    Selected fellows for the 2027–2028 Fellowship program will be announced by February 1, 2027.
